If my life could be summed up into one word it would be the word BLESSED. I was born into the greatest family who attend the greatest church in the world. Because of my parent’s zeal and love for God, I came to know about God at a very early age. I accepted Jesus as my Savior on January 1st 1995 at the age of three. I realize today how much I needed the blood of Jesus back then. How He could ever love someone like me is beyond my comprehension.

Faith Baptist Church has become my earthly home away from home. I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to serve in several of the ministries the church provides. Through the years I have made lasting friendships with people who have been such an influence and encouragement. I have come to find that there is truly safety in the multitude of counselors. I attended Badger State Baptist School from Kindergarten to Twelfth grade and graduated in 2009. I am currently attending Milwaukee Area Technical College pursuing a degree in Nursing.

I have seen several of my friends walk away from God and choose their own path. I have spent a lot of time over the past few years talking with these people about how a life with Christ in control is the only life that leads to true joy. I have tried my best to convince them and show them verse after verse of God’s love for them through the troubled times. I feel fortunate in that now, after convincing so many others of His greatness, I could never walk away from God, ever. The fact that God gave his only begotten son and Jesus shed his blood to pay for my sins; I realize that Christ deserves everything I have to offer and have decided to let him choose my path. I know he always knows what is best and will never lead me in a wrong way. Jesus gave his all for me; I will give my all to him. /
